Company Background

Micro Distributors cc had successfully been operating since 1989, primarily exporting the Mecer brand of computer equipment into Africa. In 1998 the company was re-registered as Element Dealers (Pty) Ltd t/a Micro Distributors and then proceeded to re-focus the sales and marketing activities and initiatives to include the rapidly growing local market.

The Mecer brand of PC's entered the South African IT market in 1987, and grew rapidly to become one of the leading PC brands in South Africa. Mecer maintains its edge over international competitors via brand acceptance, total product and service support, and identifying and satisfying customers' needs. As a leading Mecer Value Added Reseller, we are proud of the very close association we enjoy with our primary supplier, Mustek.
